The name of the appellation (AVA) in which both wineries are located. Recognized as one of the great Cabernet Sauvignon regions of the world, the Stags Leap District is bordered on the east by the towering Stags Leap Palisades and on the west by the Napa River. Notice the absence of the apostrophe.
