Supreme Court Rules on Direct Shipping Case
May 16, 2005
In a groundbreaking decision, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that states cannot discriminate and allow wineries within that state to ship wine to consumers unless they also allow out of state wineries to ship directly to consumers.
Despite the ruling, wineries can not ship directly to prohibited states until affected states pass legislation. We have been actively working with our legal department on this issue and will be contacting all of our consumers directly as individual states open.
To ensure you receive our most up to date information on shipping laws and other winery information you can register on our mailing list.
